Students from our P6 class participated in the Sandy Wilson Quiz organised by the Rotary Club of Aberdeen St. Fittick. Before his passing in 2008, Mr. Wilson (of the William Wilson Plumber merchants) and his family created a trust for the benefit of youngsters and asked the club to manage the project. The annual general knowledge quiz is open to youth organisations, with all participants aged under 18, giving them the opportunity to raise funds for their clubs, during a fun filled evening.
Our students enjoyed a fun filled evening, while competing against other youth organizations during the quiz. The teams, Tullos Nigg and Tullos Basketball, placed 5th and 6th in the quiz after answering 50 challenging questions, earning funds for each of the clubs. An impressive performance when you consider they were two of the youngest teams in the quiz. Congratulations on a job well done!
