We are all extremely proud of our Nursery team who have been awarded the ELC Academy Award for the Outdoor Environment.

During the celebrating ELC Awards visit, it was clear to see that there has been a change of culture in your approach to outdoor learning and you could confidently take us through your improvement journey. You demonstrated documents of reflective practice in which you had consulted effectively with children, families and staff. You were able to tell us what impact your improvement journey has had for the people using your service and where you are planning to go moving forward. I enjoyed seeing report you have made on how improving the outdoor practice has been a tool for developing leadership at all levels. The staff have put a lot of work into developing both the space and their own professional development, and this is very clearly demonstrated in their personal floor books.
