Pupils are encouraged to wear school uniform because this promotes a sense of pride in their school.  In the long term, school uniform can also be less expensive than buying a variety of more trendy clothes for children to wear at school.  School uniform is more practical.  Pupils are expected to arrive at school neatly dressed.  They are also expected to be well groomed, clean and ready for the school day ahead.  Children who arrive at school tired find it difficult to cope with school work.  Parents are asked to ensure that pupils do not wear anything which may be dangerous to themselves, or to other pupils e.g. earrings which dangle or a heavy buckle on a belt.

School Uniform is as follows:

BOYS - Grey or black trousers, white shirt, grey or black pullover, school  tie.
GIRLS - Grey or black skirt or pinafore, white blouse, grey/black cardigan, school tie.
Grey or black sweatshirts and grey or yellow polo shirts may be purchased/ordered at school.  Please see our School Administrator.
   
P.E. Kit

All pupils should have shorts, tee-shirt and INDOOR GYM SHOES.  Please ensure that kit is brought to school on days timetabled for P.E. or at the beginning of each week and kept in child’s tote tray for other activities such as drama.

N.B. For reasons of safety it is necessary for pupils to wear correct INDOOR gym shoes for PE and Drama lessons.  Outdoor trainers are not safe and these also damage the special wooden floor of the gym hall.  All jewellery must be removed for gym lessons.  If stud earrings cannot be removed for any reason they should be covered up with elastoplast.  This is for your child’s safety.

SCHOOL BAG   
All pupils require a schoolbag to carry reading books and other necessary items
