National Testing

 National Assessments takes place throughout the school year at Tullos  and it is important to understand that:
a)
Pupils are NOT assessed every year
b)
An assessment is only given when a pupil completes a learning stage as laid down in our 5-14 curriculum in Mathematics, Reading or Writing
N.B.  These learning stages cover more than one year’s work.
a)
It is the pupil’s progress through the curriculum that tells us when assessments should be given.

 Results of National Assessments will be given to parents as the child attains them and in our annual report in May of each school year.

Personal Property

 The following information is given for your guidance:

1.
Pupils should not bring items of value to school.
2.
The school cannot be held responsible for personal items which are lost or broken.
3.
All personal items including articles of clothing must be clearly named.
4.
Pupils must not leave valuables in tote trays, desks or cloakroom areas.
5.
Lost property will be kept for a short period of time and then items will be disposed of.

 Pupils must respect personal property which belongs to others and treat these items with care.
