House System

We introduced our House system to encourage positive behaviour and teamwork.  This provides an additional opportunity for recognising good behaviour.  We hope the system will encourage children to work together as part of a larger team or family.  We really want to encourage our children to value and respect one another.

Every child and teacher will belong to a House, with brothers and sisters belonging to the same House.  All staff members will maintain a collection of House Coins to award for acts of good behaviour and manners. The pupils will place their coins in their team House Box just outside the front office. House Captains (P7) and Vice-Captains (P6) will collect any additional points from our classrooms on a weekly basis. The House with the most points will receive a reward, such as longer playtime or use of special equipment.
