Newsletter April 2021

Term 4

We are glad to have all our children back in school. Hopefully as restrictions ease some of our Covid rules may relax but until that time we all need to stick to the rules.

The children are reminded of the rules in school and are very good at sticking to them. Please can I remind you to wear a mask at the school gate and allow 2m distance between you and other parents and children. Also please remind children not to bring things from home.

May Day holiday – Monday 3rd May -school closed

Inset – Tuesday 4th May – no pupils

Election day – Thursday 6th May – school open to all pupils

Last day of term 4 – Friday 25th June

The school is open on Thursday 6th May to all pupils however the gate nearest the field will be for the voters only. Room 17,18,19 and 20 will use the middle gate in front of the reception on that day while observing social distancing. We will reallocate spaces in the playground for the children at break and lunch.

At Tullos we are aiming to be paperless in our communication with families. No more school letters scrunched up at the bottom of school bags.  We now have our own Facebook page.  You can follow us at @TullosSchool for up-to-date information and find out about the learning happening in school.

We are also launching a new website which will have practical information such as your child’s class newsletter. We will get more information to follow very shortly.

Teachers are beginning to write reports for all children. They are much shorter than in previous years and focus more on your child as an individual. Guidance will be issued with the reports to explain in more detail.
